About Us

A place to set down your bags and stay a while.

Blackberry Crossing Campground sits on a quiet stretch of the Kancamagus Highway, just outside Conway, New Hampshire. We've been welcoming campers, hikers, and families to this corner of the White Mountains for years — not because we're the biggest campground in the region, but because we've built something that feels like it belongs here.

Our sites are shaded by mature pines and maples. The cabins are simple, clean, and warm. And the forest behind our property doesn't ask you to do anything except walk, breathe, and listen.

Whether you're passing through on the Kancamagus Scenic Byway or planning a longer stay to explore Mount Washington and the Franconia Notch, Blackberry Crossing is the kind of place you remember.

The Area

The Kancamagus Highway is your front door.

Blackberry Crossing sits on one of New Hampshire's most celebrated drives — the 34.5-mile Kancamagus Scenic Byway. In spring, the wildflowers. In fall, the foliage that draws visitors from every state. In summer, lake days and river floats. In winter, snowshoe trails at your doorstep.

Mount Washington is an afternoon drive. Franconia Notch is closer. Conway's lakes — Winnipesaukee, Squam, and Winnisquam — are all within easy reach. And right outside our gate, the Appalachian Trail begins its long pull north.

We're not just a place to sleep. We're a place to start from.

We've driven the Kancamagus every fall for years, and this was the first time we actually stopped and stayed. The cabins were warm, the silence was real, and we fell asleep to nothing but wind in the pines. We'll be back.
